Going Forward with Alternative Fuels
 
 
Fram Renewable Fuels, LLC was established in October 2005 through the efforts of Per Arneberg, a Norwegian shipping magnate.
 
 
Harold Arnold, President, has worked in the forest industry in the southern US his entire working life. He spent more than 23 years in the Forest Resources Division of Hercules Incorporated and held the position of Western Region Superintendent prior to his leaving Hercules in 1995. Since then, he has exported chips and other forest products through port facilities at Savannah, handled a variety of consulting projects for forest products industries in the South, and completed several international forestry related assignments as a consultant for the United States Agency for International Development. Harold joined Fram Renewable Fuels, LLC in October 2005.
 
   
Mill Manager Rusty Dubberly was educated as an electrical engineer at Southern Polytechnic University. He has 8 years experience in Plant Engineering and Maintenance and 11 years experience in Industrial Manufacturing Consulting, Design, and Project Implementation with an emphasis on Control Systems. He has served many industries, including: Textiles, Metal Fabrication, Product Testing and Assembly, Materials Handling, Water Treatment, and Automobile. He is currently overseeing construction and electrical design and will begin hiring staff and personnel shortly. He has been a great asset to Fram's staff since he began working with the Appling County Pellets project May 1, 2007.
 
   

Steven Meyers, BS, MS joined Fram Renewable Fuels, LLC & Appling County Pellets, LLC on August 6, 2007 as our Procurement Manager. He graduated from Auburn University in Alabama with a BS in Forestry Operations and an MS in Forest Economics.  Steven has over 11 years experience in wood procurement and forestry operations across the US southeast and has served in planning, purchasing and supervisory roles with Rayonier Inc. and International Paper Company.  He has spent the last seven years developing and maintaining a wood chip supply base across the State of Georgia and surrounding states while providing logistical direction to five (5) internal chip mills for the delivery of almost three (3) million tons per year.  Steven is a Registered Forester (RF) in both Georgia and Alabama.
